The South Bruce Grey Health Centre – Kincardine hospital auxiliary kicked off the Christmas season by donating $20,500 to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation, Wednesday, Nov. 26, at the Best Western Plus Governor’s Inn.
The money will be used to purchase the following equipment:
- Two special monitors for the Emergency Room providing the doctors with a more-detailed and clearer image when reading the digital X-rays, $2,600
- Monitor (wall-mount and larger screen) for work station in the laboratory, allowing staff to view the status of their work orders (known as turn-around time), $2,038
- Physiotherapy equipment – amp board, wheelchair cushions and two commodes, $2,594
- Rack used in food services for delivery and pick-up of food service trays, $1,528
