Sunday afternoon, the Kincardine Legion presented a cheque for $6,000 to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation, to put toward the $12,000 cost of a new height adjustable bathtub. This new tub will offer in-patients an invigorating spa experience with a private whirlpool bath. The previous tub was more than 15 years old, leaked around the base and the service warranty was no longer valid.


The funding comes from the Royal Canadian Legion – Provincial Branch, which has donated a total of $36,000 since 2009 for several pieces of equipment for the Kincardine hospital, including … read more.
